Reading Comprehension for MA Students

In addition to writing a persuasive essay in response to one of two news articles, MA students who are taking the Sprachpraxis exam MA 01 have the choice between either a German-to-English translation or a reading comprehension task.

Students can prepare for the essay task by taking English 3 courses that focus either solely on essay writing or include both essay writing and translation.

Students can prepare for the translation task by taking English 3 courses that focus either solely on translation or include both translation and essay writing. 

In order to prepare for the reading comprehension task, MA students can now use the dedicated Moodle course Reading Comprehension MA Exam Preparation. No password is required.

This course is an asynchronous self-study resource designed for students to work through at their own pace as they prepare for the final Sprachpraxis exam.
