Conference 'The Land Question' - Contributions by Kristina Dietz and Carla Noever Castelos
The international conference 'The Land Question' will take place in Berlin on October 30-31. The conference is organized by Critical Theory Berlin, the joint platform of the Centre for Social Critique and the chairs of social philosophy at Humboldt University and the Freie Universität Berlin.
Kristina Dietz, together with Bettina Engels (FU Berlin) and Facundo Martín (Conicet, Argentina), presents a contribution on strategies of peasant and agricultural movements: Agrarian and land transformation: how and where to? Strategies and visions of agrarian movements.
Carla Noever Castelos will present findings from her ongoing doctoral research in the paper: Land Concentration and Subjectivities of Resistance in Europe's Internal Peripheries: The Case of Anti-Lithium Struggles in Extremadura.
