Expert Council Orientation Days - Overview

Dear first-year students.

We look forward to welcoming you to Kassel this semester! For a proper start to your sports studies, there will be introductory events organized by us from 08.10.2025 (Wednesday) to 10.10.2025 (Friday).

The official welcome by the professors and lecturers will take place on 14.10.2025 (Tuesday, 2 p.m.) and 15.10.2025 (Wednesday, 9 a.m.). Both events (Room 0110-0130, Damaschkestraße 25) have the same content, so you only have to come once. You can find more information on the institute's website.

Please bring indoor shoes and weatherproof clothes, as we will be spending part of the time outside.

Now you can decide whether you want to stay at the Sports Institute and go to the Lolita Bar together with the student council at around 9 p.m. or whether you want to go to the Lolita Bar on your own.

You can lock up your things (indoor shoes etc.) in the student council room until Thursday.

Important: from 21:30-0:00 admission is free, but only for first-year students with a wristband (you can get one from us). Remember to bring your identity card!

Everyone will first meet at the Sports Institute (Damaschkestraße 25) and then head off to a sports event. In the evening there will be a party at the sports institute with a cold drink or two. The party is open-ended and you can spend the night at the institute.

Please bring your overnight clothes and sports gear including indoor shoes. As we will be doing sports, you will also need a shower kit.
