A warm welcome: Indra Dannheim and Lukas Toby

The Institute of Sport and Sport Science welcomes two new faces. We are delighted to welcome Lukas Toby to the Institute and Indra Dannheim to University Sport.

Both are looking forward to their new tasks. Lukas is actively supporting the ballstars project at the institute. He provides scientific support for the project and takes care of the training and further education of trainers. Communication with sponsors, partners and other cooperation partners is another area he has taken on.

Indra is responsible for setting up student health management (SGM) in university sports. There are already many players at the university who deal with the topic of health in different ways and offer health-promoting services for students. Their task is to network these players more closely and to make the various health-promoting measures more visible. At the same time, the SGM will be strategically structured and further developed based on the needs of students.

Welcome, Indra and Lukas! We look forward to an exciting and enjoyable collaboration with you!

Lukas

What brings you here?

I grew up in the North Hesse region and feel very much at home here. Even during my studies in Göttingen, I was particularly interested in scientific topics related to soccer. The ballstars project combines both, as it is a project for the region and everything revolves around the target shooting games of handball, soccer and basketball.

What are your tasks?

-General coordination of the ballstars project

-Scientific support of the project

-Training and further education of trainers

-building a communication platform

-Communication with sponsors/partner schools & other cooperation partners

What do you find special about the institute?

The family atmosphere and the beautiful location of the institute on the Karlsaue.

Indra

What brings you here?

The exciting task of setting up student health management at the University of Kassel.

What are your tasks?

I am responsible for setting up student health management. There are already many players at the university who deal with the topic of 'health' in a variety of ways and offer great health-promoting services for students. My task is to network these players more closely and make the various health-promoting measures more visible. At the same time, the SGM is to be strategically structured and further developed based on the needs of the students.

What do you find special about the institute?

Definitely the people. Everyone is very welcoming. I immediately felt at home.
