Sports aptitude test 2025

On 25.06.2025, the time had come again and the Institute of Sport and Sports Science welcomed 134 motivated applicants to the annual sports aptitude test. The program included various disciplines in the areas of endurance (Cooper test), speed and gymnastics. In addition, the applicants were tested in various team sports and coordination skills, with a particular focus on coordination under time pressure and coordination under rhythmic requirements.

Prof. Dr. Norbert Hagemann welcomed the potential students in the morning in the Aueparkhalle. Once again, numerous student helpers ensured a good atmosphere by actively supporting the new sports students during the aptitude test and guiding them through the individual stations.

At the end of the strenuous day, 57 participants successfully completed the aptitude test. 59 candidates proved their sporting aptitude again on 11.07.2025 during the follow-up test.

Many thanks to the lecturers and the many helping students who, under the direction of Jona Wießner, Mika Kollmann and Seraphina Rau, ensured that the aptitude test ran smoothly and was successfully organized. Special thanks go to Jona Wießner, who supported the organization of the aptitude test for many years and was now able to say goodbye with his last sports aptitude test due to the end of his studies.

The Institute of Sport and Sport Science congratulates all first-year students who have successfully completed the 2025 sports aptitude test and looks forward to welcoming them to Kassel in the 2025/2026 winter semester.
