The IfSS welcomes two new employees!

The IfSS faculty is delighted to welcome two new members of staff who will be supporting teaching, but above all working on their own qualification projects.

Since June 1, Kristina Biel has been working as a research assistant in the Training and Movement department under the supervision of Prof. Armin Kibele. Her research interest in movement science is the analysis of the swimming start in competitive sport. Since the winter semester 08/09, Ms. Biel has been in charge of the 'Trampoline' seminar in the practical training program.

Johannes Knauf joined the Department of Education and Teaching as a research assistant under the supervision of Prof. Volker Scheid on July 1. His doctoral thesis deals with movement education in the elementary sector. Mr. Knauf will be teaching the seminar "Fundamentals and Methods of Sports Science Work" from the winter semester 10/11.

The faculty wishes them both a good start and looks forward to working with them!
