German University Championship Marathon 2011 in Kassel

Germany's fastest students will once again be on the hunt for the title on May 22. In 2009, the adh (Allgemeiner Deutscher Hochschulbund) awarded Hochschulport Kassel the contract to host the DHM for the first time. A consistently positive response was the trigger for another DHM bid, which was ultimately successful for University Sports. As was the case back then, this year's championship will be integrated into the E.ON Mitte Kassel Marathon.
In addition to the DHM Marathon, the adh-open half marathon will also be held again this year. Although this does not yet have official championship status, if the number of participants continues to rise, it could be included in the adh DHM program.
For the first time, participants in these disciplines will also be ranked in the MLP University Cup, where staff from the University of Kassel can also take part. MLP has been involved in the E.ON Mitte Kassel Marathon for four years now and promises each participant a high-quality finisher T-shirt. There is also a special prize from MLP for the department with the most participants.

So we can hope for an entertaining race.
