Registration record for the German University Championships in Athletics on May 12/13 in Kassel

With over 530 entries from 80 universities, the expectations of the General University Sports Department were exceeded. This represents an increase of around 30% compared to last year's championships.

Due to the early date and the Olympic Games taking place in London this year, as well as the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki, numerous top-class athletes will be on site to collect important qualification points for these competitions.

Among the starters will also be numerous athletes from Kassel, who are looking forward to giving their best in front of their home crowd. The very good placings at the German University Championships in recent years give reason to hope that one or two titles will go to the University of Kassel.
