IfSS sports students on stage at the Kassel State Theater

At the dance evening 2 'Breitengrad', sports students from the IfSS Kassel will be performing on the big stage of the Staatstheater. They will all start to cry. A play by Johannes Wieland explores the question of what freedom means, to what extent the concept is justified, which social boundaries and to what extent individuality play a role.
Aykut Guer, Richard Berger and Pablo Schelter are three selected students who take part in the play. From the rehearsal process to the dress rehearsal to the performances, the three experience dance theater in all its facets first-hand. Intensive rehearsal work with professional artists, practicing precise sequences but also getting involved in dance processes were just some of the challenges.
When asked what positive experiences the three of them have had, all of them had the following to say:
?learning to present themselves on stage?, ?getting support from the professionals and experiencing them as completely natural people?, ?learning to deal with stage fright and excitement?, ?being able to look behind the scenes and gain an insight into how theater works? ?simply great to be on stage?

On 4.2.11 and 12.2.11 at 7.30 pm in the Schauspielhaus of the Staatstheater Kassel, the three can be experienced in their stage presence....
