CV  (Nisha Patel)

Nisha Patel joined the University of Kassel as a research associate in June 2022. She works with micro- and mesoscale user-friendly urban climate models and tools to analyse urban climate and develop adaptation measures. Previously, she obtained a Master’s degree in Meteorology at the Leibniz Universität Hannover. Moreover, she has completed her Bachelor’s and Masters’s degrees in Physics from Gujarat, India. She has practical working experience with atmospheric models, remote-sensing techniques, and ground-based stations during her work as a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai and Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad.
