Call for Papers: International Workshop on the Topic of City-Regional Imaginaries and the Reduction of Net Land Take at Kassel University
Call for Papers
The international workshop “Building One Space for Action: City-Regional Imaginaries and the Reduction of Net Land Take” is a key milestone in the agenda of the RSA Research Networks Bridging Governance Gaps in City-Regions and will take place at the University of Kassel from 4–6 November 2026.
The workshop focuses on interdisciplinary and comparative perspectives on institutional, spatial, and discursive challenges in city-regions as collective spaces for action. Particular attention is given to the role of city-regional visions, narratives, and governance structures in the implementation of sustainable spatial development.
Keynotes, thematic sessions, excursions, and a panel discussion will provide a range of opportunities for intensive exchange within a small and selected group of participants. Early-career researchers are particularly encouraged to submit contributions.

- Short biographical note (max. 100 words)
