Annual meeting of the Climate Working Group (AK Klima) | Register until 31. July 2026!
The 44th annual meeting of the Climate Working Group (AK Klima) of the German Geographical Society (DGfG) will take place in Kassel for the first time. The Department of Environmental Meteorology at the University of Kassel invites you to the documenta city of Kassel from 22.10.2026 - 24.10.2026.
With its central location, the city of Kassel offers the ideal setting for scientific exchange and networking. The conference will take place at the conference hotel Steinernes Schweinchen.
Contributions can be submitted in German or English, in the form of presentations or posters - on current or completed projects from the following and other areas:
- Applied climatology
- Urban climatology
- Environmental meteorology
- Regional and terrain climatology
- Methods of climatology
- Climate change and climate dynamics
Registration for AK Klima 2026 is now open. Please submit your abstract and registration by July 31, 2026.
