This year, the Department of Information Systems is represented with two publications at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS). According to common rankings such as the VHB-JOURQUAL, the ICIS is one of the world's best and most prestigious conferences in the field of information systems or business administration. The publication by Matthias Söllner, Axel Hoffmann, Holger Hoffmann, Arno Wacker and Jan Marco Leimeister is entitled "Understanding the Formation of Trust in IT Artifacts" and deals with the development and evaluation of a model to explain human trust formation in IT systems. 

The publication by René Wegener, Philipp Menschner and Jan Marco Leimeister is entitled "Design and Evaluation of a Didactical Service Blueprinting Method for Large Scale Lectures " and deals with the development of a method for designing didactically effective and economically efficient learning services by means of service engineering. The publications will be published in the AIS Electronic Library. The ICIS will take place from December 16-19, 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
