The academic staff of the Department of Information Systems have been able to clarify all questions around the topic of professional moderation in the two-day workshop "Moderating Communication Processes - Achieving Goals". The extensive program of the workshop offered by the Service Center Lehre included points such as the areas of application of moderation methods, the phases of a classical moderation, methods and tools as well as challenges in dealing with group-dynamic processes and furthermore strategies for goal- and resource-oriented support of communication processes in groups and teams. 

A variety of methods and tools were used during the workshop to jointly work on this comprehensive agenda. In addition to laying the groundwork, the focus was on transferring what was learned into personal fields of action. From team meetings to teaching situations, moderation plays an important role in many areas of work of the Winfo team. Overall, the participants were able to expand their knowledge of the many aspects of moderation. Thus, the prerequisites were created to be able to support future communication processes in an effective and goal-oriented way.
