Are you looking for a flexible job that gives you the opportunity to advance your studies and career development? We are looking for a dedicated student assistant (m/f/d) to support us in the implementation of our research projects and in the final editing of scientific publications.

The position is available from November 1, 2023, initially until March 31, 2023. The range of hours is between 30 and 40 hours per month, depending on your preferences.

Tasks

You will support the chair team in research and gain insight into scientific work. The tasks are varied - they include, for example, editorial work on a book (e.g. preparation of the list of abbreviations, final editing, support in the preparation of illustrations, standardization of the bibliography), research activities and, if necessary, coding activities as well as simple data analysis. An interest in the subject matter of government and administration is a plus.

Requirements

• you have very good German language skills
• you are reliable and work carefully and structured
• advantageous are: Knowledge of quantitative research methods, experience with the literature management program Citavi as well as a study background in sociology, political science, history, psychology, economics, administrative science or business administration.
