Prof. Dr. Sofia Schöbel, who is a postdoctoral researcher and research group leader at the Department of Information Systems, was appointed as junior professor at the University of Osnabrück on 01 October 2021. She conducts research on persuasive system design, the use and design of smart assistants as well as the design, testing of interaction processes in the field of digital teaching and learning and in the exploration of Big Data processes. Her research has been published in the European Journal of Information Systems, Communications of the AIS, and in internationally renowned conferences (ICIS, ECIS), among others. Sofia Schöbel is also continuously active as Associate Editor and Track Chair at various scientific conferences.
