Abstract:
Demographic change opens up a variety of application areas and a growing market for novel linkages of service offerings and innovative technologies in the healthcare sector. However, there is a lack of concepts and empirical knowledge for the design of such technology-based service innovations. In this anthology, different approaches and methods of user-centered technology development, as well as service design, are presented and the gained experiences and insights - from needs assessment to prototypical piloting of technology-enabled services - are reflected and illustrated by concrete application examples.
