On July 27, 2017, this year's traditional summer party of the Department of Information Systems (Prof. Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister) of the University of Kassel took place. Since this year in Kassel also the documenta 14 is carried out, the department combined this summer party with a visit of this worldwide most important exhibition series for contemporary art. In addition to a discussion including an explanation of the overall concept of this year's documenta in the Press Center, the exhibition in the Neue Galerie (Neue Post) as well as the "Parthenon of Books" were stations of the participants. In the evening, the actual summer party took place in a boathouse on the Fulda in the Karlsaue park landscape. Over drinks and barbecue, the first half of 2017 was reviewed by the attending chair staff, alumni and student assistants in a cozy atmosphere.
