On Friday, July 2, 2021, the final event of the joint project KoLearn was held at the Bildungszentrum Kassel in Waldau. At the hybrid event, in which the guests and project partners were connected both physically and digitally, the partners were able to present the results of the project, which had been running for almost 4 years, to a broad public. Afterwards, the guests were able to explore the Kassel education center in more detail either virtually by means of a 360° tour or physically and experience the use of the KLuQ system (KoLeArn learning and qualification system) in practice for themselves.

KoLearn which stands for "Context Sensitive Learning Services in the Work Process of Smart Industrial Manufacturing", has been researching the changing production and working conditions in industrial manufacturing as well as the resulting qualification needs of employees in Germany and China over the past 3 3/4 years. The program, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, ran from October 2017 to October 2020 but was extended by Corona for three quarters of a year and had its ultimate conclusion on June 30, 2021.

The content focus of the event was the presentation of the project results of the collaborative project. Project partners were the departments of business informatics and business didactics of the University of Kassel, Lyncronize GmbH, Bildungszentrum Kassel GmbH and Wirtschaftsförderung Region Kassel GmbH.

After the welcome of the guests and the partners by the coordinator Prof. Dr. Leimeister from the department of business informatics and the host of the Bildungszentrum Kassel Katrin Bock, all project participants presented their results. This was followed by a tour of the industrial departments of the Kassel Training Center, which gave those involved on site a clear picture of the project's potential applications. Trainers of the training center led expertly through the workshops welding technology, CNC milling technology, 3D technology as well as gear technology and offered insights into the possibilities of Industry 4.0.
The online participants owed by Corona were by no means disadvantaged and could join the tour equally digitally and here also directly test application possibilities of the KoLearn platform KLuQ in practice. Informative videos on the industrial training departments also offered a small insight into the work of the training center. At the end of the event, the in-house bakery school provided refreshments in the form of sandwiches and nut buns.

We are pleased that the presentation of the project and the subsequent tour met with such broad interest.
