Inspired by a thematically similar survey conducted by the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce in 2014, on the importance of location factors, the Kassel-Marburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce launched a survey of around 8,400 members. What importance is attached to the location of Northern Hesse? What challenges do companies in the region have to face and what impact did Corona have on the attractiveness of North Hesse as a location?

The location analysis shows exciting aspects around the location North Hesse from a company's point of view and offers insights around the factors traffic, infrastructure, location costs/financing, workforce and qualification, climate protection/environment and future viability.

The Department of Information Systems provided scientific support for this project and assisted the IHK in collecting and evaluating the data.
