Im Rahmen einer ERASMUS-Reise fand im September 2019 ein erster Besuch in Cagliari-Italien statt. Für das gemeinsame Seminar hat Frau Prof. Silke Ruth Laskowski einen Vortrag über das Thema Parität und Jan Sereda-Weidner (Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) hat einen rechtsvergleichenden Vortrag zu Luftreinhälteplänen gehalten. Die Themen sind in Deutschland zurzeit gleichermaßen brisant und aktuell. Der Austausch war für alle Beteiligten sehr erfolgreich und sowohl die Universität Cagliari, als auch Frau Prof. Silke Ruth Laskowski sind sich einig, dass es nicht der letzte Besuch sein wird. Der Lehrstuhl steht weiter in Kontakt und das nächste Projekt ist in Planung. Mehr dazu folgt in naher Zukunft.
As part of an ERASMUS trip, a first visit to Cagliari Italy took place in September 2019. For the joint seminar, Prof. Silke Ruth Laskowski gave a talk on parity. Jan Sereda-Weidner (Research Assistant) gave a comparative law lecture on air quality plans. The topics in Germany are currently explosive and up-to-date. The exchange was very successful for all concerned and both the University of Cagliari and Prof. Silke Ruth Laskowski agree that it will not be the last visit. The chair remains in contact and the next project is in planning. More will follow in the near future.
The first German-Japanese summer school took place from August 9, 2018 to August 17, 2018. The main theme of the summer school was environmental law. It was a very informative exchange between the professors and students. Since the exchange has been well received by all participants, this autumn the next summer / autumn school will start.
The registration deadline ran until the end of August '19. In the period from 26th October to 4th November 2019 the renewed exchange takes place. New impressions and reports follow.
Das Projekt "Klimawandel - eine Herausforderung für Environmental Justice in Deutschland und der Türkei"
wurde seit Februar 2015 für 3 Jahre vom DAAD gefördert. Das Projekt wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit der Juristischen Fakultät der Istanbul Universität und der Professorin Dr. Ayse Nur Tütüncü realisiert.
Thematisch stehen Klimaschutz und die eingetretenen und prognostizierten Klimawandelfolgen im Mittelpunkt, welche sich auf die Lebensbedingungen von Menschen, Tieren und Ökosystemen in verschiedenen Regionen Deutschlands und der Türkei dramatisch auswirken ("Dürre und Wassermangel, "Starkniederschläge und Überflutung"). Hinzu tritt der im US-amerikanischen Recht etablierte Begriff "Environmental Justice". Weitere Informationen finden Sie auf der Projektseite.
We are proud to announce that Prof. Dr. Laskowski is named judge at the Turkish national rounds of the 56th Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, held at the historic campus of the Istanbul University Faculty of Law, on March 7-8, 2015.
Teams from ten different law schools will encounter on the procedural and substantive issues regarding the conflict between Agnostica and Reverentia arising form the secession of one province of a nation and its annexation into another and these talented law students will compete in order to be nominated for the international rounds in Washington D.C.
Prof. Dr. Silke R. Laskowski hat im Oktober 2014 am "International Symposium on Roles of the State in the Non-Profit Transfers" in Kyoto als Vortragende teilgenommen. Sie hat zu folgendem Thema referiert: "The Restriction in Common Welfare in the Ongoing Legal Strategy Pursued by the European Union Concerning Public Services in the Water Sector - Empowering non-profit public services in the water sector".
