Our research in fundamental organoelement chemistry focuses on specific bonding situations, unique properties such as σ- and π-conjugation and chirality. In this respect controlling the stereochemistry of stereogenic main group element atoms is part of our investigations, be it for fundamental questions of chirality or the stereochemical alignment of multiple stereogenic centers (SFB 1319).
