DPG Spring Conference 2026

In March 2026, a large part of our working group attended the spring meetings of the German Physical Society in Mainz (Atoms, Molecules, Quantum Optics and Photonics Section) and Dresden (Condensed Matter Section), to which they contributed a large number of presentation and poster contributions.

Beamtime at BESSY II

From 16.02. - 23.02.2026 Johannes Viehmann, Yusaku Terao, Julian Hertlein, Dana Bloß, Andreas Hans and Adrian Krone experimented at the U125-2_NIM beamline of the storage ring BESSY II in Berlin. They applied electron-photon coincidence spectroscopy to study non-local energy and charge transfer processes such as interatomic Coulombic decay (ICD) and interatomic radiative decay (IRD) in noble gas clusters.
