New Master's students

We welcome Sunny Labh and Julian Hertlein as Master students in our group.

We wish you a good time in the AG Ehresmann!

Beamtime at FlexPES

Group photo.

From December 1 - 9, 2025 Dana Bloß, Yusaku Terao, Johannes Viehmann, Emilia Heikura, Joel Herrmann and Madhusree Roy Chowdhury together with our external colleagues Rémi Dupuy and Olle Björneholm performed experiments at the FlexPES beamline of the MAX IV synchrotron in Sweden. ICD (intermolecular Coulombic decay) processes in resonantly excited cations were investigated.

Workshop "Soft X-ray Science at PETRA III"

Group photo.

Arno Ehresmann, Andreas Hans, Emilia Heikura and Dana Bloß took part in the workshop "Soft X-ray Science at PETRA III" in Hamburg from November 17 - 18, 2025, where Emilia Heikura and Dana Bloß presented their scientific work by giving a talk.

Disputation by Lutz Marder

On 20.10.2025 Lutz Marder successfully defended his dissertation entitled Decay Cascades of Inner-Shell Vacancies in Rare-Gas Clusters.

Congratulations!
