PhD Position / Research Assistant (EG 13 TV-H)

Part-time position with half the working hours of a full-time employee. This is a fixed-term position for two years with the possibility of a one-year extension (§ 2 Abs. 2 WissZeitVG; opportunity for a PhD project).

Responsibilities:
We are constantly seeking highly motivated individuals with strong
experimental skills in the fields of high-resolution molecular
spectroscopy, laboratory astrophysics, and time-dependent spectroscopy in
the field of chirality.

Requirements:
Prerequisites include a completed university degree (Master’s) with a grade
“good” or better in the field of experimental physics. Experience in
experimental physics and basic knowledge of molecular physics and high-
-resolution laser spectroscopy are required. Knowledge of LabView
(data processing and data evaluation software) is an advantage.
