The "Laboratory Astrophysics" research group, founded in 2012, focuses on the investigation and characterization of molecules of astrophysical interest using modern laser spectroscopy. Using the spectra obtained in the laboratory in this way, new molecules can be detected in interstellar gas clouds using radio telescopes.
