The examinations office documents all achievements and accepts registrations for examinations that cannot be carried out independently. We also issue transcripts, transcripts of records and certificates. In addition, we enter recognitions and achievements from interdisciplinary examination registrations. If you have general questions about your studies (e.g. exam registration procedure, timetabling, changing degree programs, etc.), you can contact the Student Service (studium-fb10[at]uni-kassel[dot]de) directly.

Note on theses

We would like to ask you to send us your theses in the following ways:

- by post (the postmark documents compliance with the submission deadline) to:

- by dropping it in the mailbox of the examination office or

- with an appointment on site at our examination office

Please also send us a PDF of the thesis on the day of submission, an external data carrier is not necessary.



Note on recognitions

For technical reasons, recognized achievements for the examination regulations from 2023 onwards can only be entered from the summer semester 2024 at the earliest. This may also affect your examination planning.

All examination regulations can be found on the respective degree program pages.

To register, use your personal UniAccount that was assigned to you when you enrolled. Please make sure that you also activate your account for the first time. activated activated for the first time. You can find more information about your account here.

All coursework and examinations must be registered in good time via the HIS-POS online portal. No examinations may be taken or recognized without successful examination registration. Subsequent registration (even during the examination) is not possible. Registration in handwritten lists, online registration in the course catalog or in Moodle do not replace registration in POS!
