2009 - Workshop construction of a wind turbine

In 2009, a 1 kW wind turbine was installed in the frame as part of a workshop held by students of the master's degree program in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency . With a rotor diameter of 3.6 m and a mast height of 10 m, the turbine feeds the generated electricity into the public grid. The hardware for this, such as inverter, load resistor and overvoltage protection  is provided by the company SMA from Niestetal. set up.
