Specialist management certificate

What is this?

In the seminar for the specialist guide certificate, you will learn how to design and conduct guided tours for different target groups using the tropical greenhouse as an example. You will also expand your knowledge of tropical plants.

What do I do with it?

If you are studying for a Bachelor's degree, you will receive 1 CP in the area of "Current topics from science and practice" for successfully completing the program.

If you are interested, you can then take on guided tours of the Tropical Greenhouse and the Teaching & Learning Garden as a paid volunteer.

Once you have gained experience with guided tours, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the educational modules of the tropical greenhouse, such as rallies, coffee or cocoa courses, and carry these out for a fee.

In addition, the skills acquired in working with groups can be transferred to many other areas.

When & where does it take place?

Binding preliminary talk: Monday, October 20, 12:30 - 12:45

Seminar: Friday, October 31, 13:00 - 18:00 & Saturday, November 1, 9:00 - 18:00

Venue: Seminar room in the tropical greenhouse

Participation in the preliminary talk and the seminar, including a short guided tour, is required for the certificate of achievement.
