Prof. Dr. Fundora’s research focuses on development approaches from a justice perspective. Her work focuses in particular on the social and solidarity economy, gender mainstreaming, social inequalities, intersectionality, and gender equality policies.

Prof. Dr. Rodríguez's research focuses on the political economy of energy and extractivism in Latin America, particularly on the tensions between energy security, the energy transition, and socio-ecological conflicts related to hydrocarbons and critical minerals.
