Institute of Nanostructure Technologies and Analytics (INA)
Welcome to the website of the Institute of Nanostructure Technologies and Analytics (INA). The Institute consists of Technological Electronics Group (FB 16 - Faculty of Electrical Engineering / Computer Science) and Technological Physics Group (FB 10 – Faculty of Natural Sciences, Institute of Physics) at University of Kassel.
The INA is directed in cooperation by Prof. Dr. Hartmut Hillmer (Technological Electronics) and Prof. Dr. Johann Peter Reithmaier (Technological Physics). 400 sqm of cleanroom facilities including a class 1 cleanroom section as well as numerous peripheric laboratory facilities are operated in common. For further information, please check the corresponding homepage.
At the Institute of Nanostructure Technologies and Analytics (INA), formerly Institute of Microstructure Technologies and Analytics (IMA), the development of novel nanostructuring procedures and their application potentials is the focus of research. Topics in the field of Nanostructure Technologies, Nano System Technologies, Nano Mechanics, Nano Sensorics, Nano Analytics, Optoelectronics, Nano Photonics and Nano Electronics are addressed.
The Institute is embedded in interdisciplinary organizations and networks, i.e. "Center for Interdisciplinary Nanostructure Science and Technology" (CINSaT), "Netzwerk Hessen-China", "Competenz Center Aerospace Kassel-Calden" and "Optence". It is supporting the "Technology Transfer Section" of the University of Kassel.
