Project Z1 provides essential support for other projects by making tailor-made molecules available, which are adapted on a molecular level to the different requirements of the physical methods to be used or developed in this CRC. Besides general service aspects, two areas of activity will be specifically targeted with one focusing on volatility of heavy element compounds as well as preparation of PV related chiral metallocenes and the other one on enantiopure compounds with improved rigidity and distance variation between chiral center and marker atom within their molecular scaffolds.
