Best Doctoral Paper Award

Current PhD students or recently graduated PhDs (within the last two years) were invited to submit papers based on their doctoral work. To be considered, papers should not be co-authored with a faculty member. Papers should be accompanied by a statement in which the wish to participate in the competition is expressed.

The paper entitled “How Structural and Procedural Features of Managers’ Performance Appraisals Facilitate Their Politicization: A Study of Canadian University Deans’ Reappointments", submitted by Eric Lavigne, has been selected for the Best Doctoral Paper Award.

The winner has been announced during the conference dinner on August 29th, 2019.
