Dr. habil. Tim Seidenschnur

Tim Seidenschnur ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter des DFG geförderten Projekts "Multipler Wettbewerb in Forschung und Lehre: Südkorea und die USA als internationale Vergleichsfälle" und koordiniert die DFG-Forschungsgruppe “Multipler Wettbewerb im Hochschulsystem”.

Er hatte von April 2024 bis Ende März 2025 die Vertretungsprofessur "Hochschulschulforschung" am Fachbereich Gesellschaftswissenschaften der Universität Kassel inne.

Von 2018 bis 2021 war Tim Seidenschnur Koordinator des Forschungsschwerpunkts Governance und Organisation am INCHER und wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter von Prof. Dr. Georg Krücken im DFG-geförderten Projekt „Legitimation von Unternehmensberatung in unterschiedlichen institutionellen Kontexten“ (LegU). Das Projekt LegU fand in Kooperation mit Prof. Dr. Rick Vogel und Julia Galwa von der Universität Hamburg statt. Bevor Tim Seidenschnur im Projekt LegU am INCHER tätig war, arbeitete er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Spezielle Soziologie an der Universität Würzburg und als Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben am Lehrstuhl für Makrosoziologie der Universität Kassel. Tim Seidenschnur hat 2012 zum Thema „kontextueller Antisemitismus“ bei Prof. Dr. Heinz Bude in Kassel promoviert. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen seither im Bereich der soziologischen Theorie und hier vornehmlich der Organisationssoziologie und in der Hochschulforschung.

Tim Seidenschnur beschäftigt sich mit organsationssoziologischen Fragestellungen und blickt dabei insbesondere auf Wettbewerbe, Legitimationsprozesse und organisationale Governance.
