Expenses

The fee for ISU is 1500 Euro until March 31, 2007, and 1900 Euro from April 1, 2007.

Included in your fee are:

• Seminars (40 hours in total),
• Language Course (40 hours),
• Workshop (8 hours)
• Cultural Program (Excursions, Opening- and Closing Ceremony, etc.),
• Accommodation with 2 meals per day
• Ticket for public transportation in Kassel
• Insurance

If you arrange your own accommodation elsewhere, please inform us when you apply or at the latest on April 30, 2007. The fee will be reduced in this case.

Please note: We cannot offer any fee reductions for those who do not want to attend the entire program or for those opting for language courses only.

Additional Expenses are incurred through:

• travel expenses,
• personal spendings,
• lunch at the cafeteria of the University of Kassel - approx. EURO 1.50 - 4.00 per meal
• participation in optional activities (trip to Berlin, etc.)

Please make sure, that you bring enough cash with you on the day of arrival, to cover the additional cost and have some money for food and beverages for the first few days.

DAAD Scholarships

ISU Kassel is approved and supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). You may apply for financial subsidies from the DAAD until March 31, 2007. Please see Scholarships for details.

Please note: Only applicants currently affiliated with an Institution of Higher Education are eligible for the DAAD subsidies, e.g. undergraduate and postgraduate students, researchers, lecturers, etc.
