Relating to the overall topic of “New Solutions for Environmental Challenges – Towards a Sustainable Future,” the ISU 2007 offers the following seminars: 

Environmental Engineering:

Integrative Environmental Studies:

• Integrative Environmental Studies (in English)

Civil Engineering:

• Introduction to Earthquake Engineering (in English)
  

Business & Politics:

• Environmental Business and Politics (in English) 

Interactive German Studies & Cultural Studies:

• German History and Politics of the 20th Century, incl. field trips (in English)
• Deutsche Geschichte und Politik im 20. Jh., inkl. Exkursionen (in German)
• Intercultural Communication (in English)

Art:

• Documenta, the world’s largest contemporary art exhibition (in English)

All seminars will be taught by high profile faculty members from the respective disciplines listed above. Classes meet daily in the mornings or afternoons. Each seminar consists of 20 contact hours and earns 3 credit points.

You can participate in up to 2 seminars. Tuition includes two seminars of your choice.
