Request area

To be able to use Confluence for the first time, it is necessary to create a new area. To do this, please call up the form for requesting a new area and follow the steps below.

If you have called up the form, you will be asked to fill in the following fields.

First enter your first and last name and your work e-mail address <ukxxxxxx@uni-kassel.de>.

Then enter your user name <ukxxxxxxxx> in the "UniAccount" field. Then select your subject area or department <e.g. ITS> under "Area" in which you work and for which you would like to request a confluence page.

Finally, enter a name for your area under "Confluence area name" <ITS-HIWIS>.

A simple calculation task appears for the security check, the result of which you should enter in the corresponding field.

After you have carefully checked all the information, click on "Submit" to submit the application.

After submission, your application will be checked. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your Confluence area has been successfully created. From this point on, you can use the many possibilities of Confluence.
