The IT governance structures of the University of Kassel

The university's IT governance structures include the CIO and the CIO committee:

Chief Information Officer (CIO)
The CIO controls the university-wide development in the area of technical information management in coordination with the Executive Board.

CIO Committee
The CIO heads the CIO committee, which coordinates central facilities in technical information management - taking into account data protection and information security. He also coordinates the KIM, which is responsible for strategic coordination with the specialist departments, as well as the steering committee for central digitalization projects. He is supported in this by the Digital Transformation Office (DTO).
