As part of a public event on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., students will present the AI prototypes they have developed over the semester.

Location: Event room in the Schlachthof cultural center, Mombachstr. 10-12

The focus will be on three practical projects that address specific challenges facing the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof - from the automated search for funding and digital process documentation to an AI-supported information system in the reception area. The applications developed offer exemplary answers to the question of what technological support can look like in socio-cultural practice.

In addition to the presentations by the student teams, there will be keynote speeches by the participating organizations as well as project stands with space for discussion, questions and feedback.

Target group: Cultural professionals, students, academics and all interested parties from the fields of social work & social innovation, digitalization & cultural work and journalists are invited. The President of the University of Kassel will open the event as a member of the board of the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof.
