Campus without Borders
A program series at the University of Kassel
Campus without Borders is a university-wide series of events at the AStA building on the main campus of the University of Kassel. The series aims to bring together students, staff, lecturers and guests - people with very different backgrounds, experiences and life paths. The focus is on an open, inclusive exchange that shows how diverse our university is.
The aim is to create spaces for exchange, encounters and shared learning: eating together, getting to know new perspectives, listening to inspiring lectures, experiencing music from talented students and staff and ending the evening with an after-show party.
The series also aims to sensitize students to the importance of an open, diverse and politically aware campus - a place where people and stories come together.
The organizer is Fatih Meral, research assistant at the Department of Technical Thermodynamics and Erasmus representative of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The second evening was dedicated to international educational paths and personal experiences abroad. An international buffet, talks by Selina Ewald and Aitor Cendoya Ferrada, live music and an after-show party made the evening a lively meeting place for people from all over the world. The focus was on stories about arriving, researching and studying in Europe - and the diversity that characterizes our campus.
