Silent Book Club inspires in the campus library
Image: hr - Cara DöhlemannAt the Silent Book Club Kassel, people read in silence - and yet together. This concept, which originated in the USA, is becoming increasingly popular as a new trend.
The last meeting on January 14 took place in pleasant and inspiring surroundings in the Kassel campus library. After a short round of introductions to the books they had brought with them, the 23 participants were able to immerse themselves in an hour of quiet reading together. Afterwards, there was the opportunity to talk about what they had read or to end the evening in a relaxed atmosphere.
The meeting was also accompanied by a team from hessenschau. The report is available here .
The University Library would like to thank all participants for their great interest and looks forward to the next meeting.
