Modular system
All templates are based on a modular system of typographic and design elements.

Constant elements:
The sidebars
The typography
The logo

Variable elements:
The use of a white space or a space in the CD colors.
The use of photography.
The combination of color areas with each other or with a photograph using the fixed header area.
The design element: the variable line

Choice of publication formats

Exceptions

For special publications (e.g., anniversary publication, annual report), independent design is possible in consultation with the Communications, Press and Public Relations Office. The basic principles for logo, color, typography and image design apply here.

Photos

All photos (copyright: University of Kassel) in the publication templates are only sample photos and can be replaced.

Printing Tip

All Din Lang flyers have a spiral fold and are laid out on 100/100/97.

Poster

Information on poster design
Independent design is possible in consultation with the Communications, Press and Public Relations Office. The basic principles of logo, color, typography and image design apply here.

Format
The following formats are preferred DIN A3 - DIN A1

Regulation
Only the position of the logo in the upper left corner is fixed.

Invitations

Information on digital templates for invitation cards in a university setting.

The following standards apply to invitations:
Uniform stand and size of the logo
Use of images and color areas possible
White space, images and color areas can be combined
Dimensioning of the invitation template

The preferred format is DIN long, both portrait and landscape. Other formats are possible. In the invitation, the use of typography is more variable, both stand and size can be freely chosen

Rollup

University of Kassel Rollup Template Information

A modular system also applies to the University's rollups:
Uniform stand and size of the logo
Uniform level of typography
Uniform font size
White space, images and color areas can be combined
Variation with increased text and variable use of images

Format
The preferred format is 800 x 2000 mm.
