Power and Energy Student Summit 2021

We would like to welcome you to the Power and Energy Student Summit (PESS) in digital form on November 25–26, 2021.

The Power and Energy Student Summit is a annual conference for graduate students in the field of electrical power engineering working towards their Master or Ph.D. Degree and for young professionals. It aims to be a platform for the scientific exchange of young researchers and is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in writing and publishing scientific work. Furthermore, it is a space for presentation and discussion with a technical audience and with experts.

An established conference in a digital format

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to host the conference digitally. We are looking forward to an interactive conference with sufficient room for discussion and a sane timetable with regular breaks.

A short overview

First off, people interested in participating should take a look at the topics, which serve as an overview over major subjects of interest for the conference. Participants can then prepare their scientific paper, as detailed on the Call for Papers page. The papers and keynote speakers will then be listed under Program. On the same page, a detailed schedule will be published.

Finally, the participants show their work to the audience in form of a presentation on the days of the Summit and afterwards engage in a discussion with them. We have prepared social events and visual visits to allow the attendees to actively contribute to the conference.

On a side note, we have prepared a history page showing the past PESS conferences and if still available, their respective websites.
