DSH Results (Written Section) from September 16, 2026

In the table, you will find your score listed next to your test participant number. Below the table, you will also find additional important instructions for your oral exam; please take note of them and follow them.

DSH 2 or DSH 3 Results:

Please arrive on time for your appointment at the preparation room.

DSH 1 (**) result:

You are eligible to take the oral exam. However, since your overall result can only be a DSH 1 at most, you may decide for yourself whether or not you wish to take the oral exam. To receive a certificate, however, you must take both the written and oral parts of the exam.

If you would like to take the oral exam, please contact us at dsh-deutschkurse[at]uni-kassel[dot]de by no later than Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.; we will then send you your exam date for September 24, 2026. Unfortunately, we cannot consider emails that reach us after 12:00 p.m. or that were sent to the wrong address.

Result: F (failed):

Unfortunately, you will not be able to take the oral exam.

Important Information Regarding Your Oral Exam:

• The exam dates are binding. No changes are permitted.
• Please bring your passport and your current conditional admission letter, which we will check at the beginning of the preparation session.
• The exams will take place at Kurt-Wolters-Straße 5, 34125 Kassel, on the 1st floor. Please arrive approximately 5 minutes before your scheduled time at your preparation room, 1022 (access via room 1019).
• You will have 20 minutes to prepare for the oral exam. You will receive the exam materials during the preparation period. You may use a German-German dictionary during preparation. Please bring your own dictionary. Digital or other aids are not permitted during the preparation period and/or the exam.
• The oral exam will take place after the preparation period. The exam lasts approximately 20 minutes and consists of a short presentation (3–5 minutes) on the material you have received and a conversation with the exam team (approximately 15 minutes). You will receive your exam results after your oral exam.
