Project description:

The learning environment on "Inclusive Pedagogical Relationships", which has already been successfully tested in the elementary school teaching program, will be further developed in PRONET² into a project seminar for students of all teacher training programs and a cross-phase offering. It will be anchored in the core module "Observing, Advising, Supporting in the Pedagogical Field" of the core study program in educational science and linked to a continuing education program for teachers.

After the acquisition of basic knowledge about pedagogical relationships, inclusion and children's rights and its reflection by means of case-based methods within the seminar kick-off, a phase organized in tandems follows. With the focus on interactions between teachers and students, observations are made in the school field, which are recorded, processed and evaluated with the help of a manual. A selection of the resulting case vignettes is presented at a group meeting and discussed with the help of collegial case consultation. The final meeting serves as a joint reflection on the experience gained.

All in all, the students' own competencies in shaping pedagogical relationships are promoted through orientation on the "Reckahn Reflections on the Ethics of Pedagogical Relationships" as well as through the formation of tandems of students and teachers with observation in the classroom. Sensitization to expectations and prejudices, perceptual training and the promotion of empathy play an important role. Written case reflections and videography are used as evaluation methods.
