Teaching

In the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Psychology, the Department of Psychological Assessment is responsible for the lecture "Introduction to Psychological Assessment" and the associated seminar "Designing Tests and Questionnaires” (Module 6). In addition, we introduce and apply psychological assessment tools (Module 7) in the seminars "Interview, Observation and Conversation" and "Personality and Performance Tests in a Clinical Context".

In the Master's Program in Psychology, in addition to the lecture on Psychological Assessment, we offer advanced seminars on different topics as well as on the preparation of expert opinions (Module 2). Together with the departments of Differential Psychology and Psychological Methodology, our department also participates in the new specialization on "Advanced Research Design and Statistical Modelling" (ARMS, Module 6), in which we take up and deepen current methodological developments in psychological research.

In the Master's program in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, in addition to the lecture on Psychological Assessment, we offer an advanced seminar in which clinical assessment topics such as neuropsychological diagnostics, assessment of suicidality, malingering, etc. are dealt with (Module 2). Further information on the current seminars can be found in the respective course directories.

In addition, we offer teaching in the educational science core curriculum for teachers, namely in "Observing, Counseling, Supporting in Education” (Module 3).
