Cantiamo - Choir of the University of Kassel
Cantiamo Kassel has had a firm place among the music ensembles at the University of Kassel since 2005. All interested and committed singers can always join us at the beginning of the semester (April and October). New programs and projects are developed each semester.
Participate (International students are welcome to join!)
Every singer from every voice group is invited to join. Even if you have never joined Cantiamo before, you are very welcome!
The choir is looking forward to numerous registrations.

Program
There is (still) no concert program for the current summer semester.
However, as we have two projects coming up next winter semester, we are already starting on them in the summer semester.
1. on February3, 2024, we will perform works by Gounod, Elgar and others with the Kasseler Konzertchor e.V. and the Orchestervereinigung Kurhessen e.V.
2. on Good Friday 2024, we will perform Gustav Mahler's Resurrection Symphony under the direction of GMD Angelico with the State Theater Orchestra in the Stadthalle. This work is very intense and the opportunity to perform this work does not come along very often. A must for all choir enthusiasts.
Registration
Registrations are always possible at the beginning of the semester (April/October). It is online until 30.04. Unfortunately, applications are no longer possible after this date.

- Regular rehearsals every Wednesday, 6-8 pm in lecture hall 1 of the CampusCenter (Moritzstraße)
- Rehearsal weekend: 28.01.2024 HP, Church of Jesus Christ, Tischbeinstr. 61, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
- Dress rehearsal: 03.02.2024, 11-14 h, Martinskirche
Rehearsals will be held in German.
