On the Move: Pastoralism, Tokens, Amulets and Spirits — Fernando García-Dory and Mi You in Conversation
In cooperation with the Department for the Ecology of Animal Societies at the Max Planck Institute for Animal Behavior, Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart will host a workshop on the topic »Vital Currencies«. Derivates of more-than-human encounters on May 26 and 27 .
As part of this workshop, Fernando García-Dory and Mi You will discuss topics ranging from pastoralist cultures and currencies to talismans in their talk titled On the Move : Pastoralism, Tokens, Amulets and Spirits on the evening of May 27. They will further consider the possibility of a socio-environmental financial support mechanism by examining INLAND’s investment plans and the case study of the Shepherds School Bonds.
