After last year's KEG conference, which had to take place as a Zoom event due to the pandemic situation, we are very much looking forward to a conference in presence from April 5-6, 2022 at the University of Kassel.
The 20th conference of the Conference of Institutions for Women's and Gender Studies in German-speaking Countries (KEG) will focus on developments and issues relating to higher education policy, disciplines and communication as well as social concerns and debates. An important basic concern of the KEG is the qualified exchange of experience between institutionalized institutions in German-speaking countries as well as the dialogue with non-university projects on feminist, gender-equitable, gender-diverse and intersectional issues. The exchange of experiences in topic-specific working groups is intended to provide a diagnostic view of the potentials and challenges of higher education and university developments and to contribute to reflecting on and advancing forms and strategies for the institutionalization of gender studies.
