The project is part of UKS_digi (University of Kassel digital: redesigning university teaching), which is funded by the Foundation for Innovation in University Teaching from August 2021 to July 2024. The sports pedagogy sub-project from the field of action "The didactic interaction of face-to-face and digital teaching" focuses on the further development of reflective, video-supported case work. Various blended learning formats will be offered and evaluated for this purpose.

The joint project "Ball sports groups for primary school children" was launched in 2015 by the Institute of Sport and Sports Science at the University of Kassel and MT Melsungen with the aim of implementing the conception, establishment and evaluation of ball sports groups in the North Hesse region over the course of a four-year project.

Now that the approach to promoting and evaluating the ability to reflect among sports students as part of practical school studies has proven successful (sub-project P02, PRONET 2015-2018), the field of application of reflective practical studies will be expanded in the follow-up study PRONET² from 2019 to 2023 and institutionalized by setting up a teaching-learning laboratory for sports pedagogy.

As courses that integrate theory and practice, practical school studies form an important part of teacher training. In this context, the professional view of teachers' actions can be trained in a special way, for example through video case work. The objective of professionalism through reflexivity is also linked to the desire to further develop one's own personality as a teacher.

The state program "Talent Search - Talent Promotion" (Hessisches Kultusministerium & Landessportbund Hessen e.V., 2006) aims to promote young competitive athletes in Hessen in an educationally responsible manner.

The project is dedicated to reflecting on gender and heterogeneity competence in school sport and is aimed in particular at future sports teachers, but also at those already working in schools.

The urgency of dealing with inclusion lies in the UN CRPD signed in 2009, which, among other things, provides a legal framework for the demand for joint education (§24).

The project aims to implement a four-year project (from January 2015) with the conception, establishment and evaluation of ball sports groups in a ball sports center.

The "Strongly Moved" training measure aims to qualify primary school teachers to plan and implement experiential education measures.
