The Communal Washing Factory is a hybrid of a laundry, a textile repair workshop, a fabric archive, a reuse lab, an educational institution, and a public urban space. Water itself is an integral part of this process, so that its movement, consumption, treatment, and reuse become visible and traceable within the architecture.
